5 Chicken Breasts
2 Apples (Gala or Fuji, not Macintosh)
1 tbsp Thyme
4 cloves Garlic, crushed
1/2 cup White Wine, dryer the better
1/2 cup Apple Cider (or 3 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar)
Preheat oven to 375˚F.
Slice the apples and the onions. In a deep roasting pan, layer the bottom with the apple and onion slices. Place chicken breast atop the vegetables in another layer. Cover chicken with remaining apple and onion slices.
In a small bowl, combine the garlic, white wine, cider, and thyme. Mix well and pour over chicken and vegetable mixture. Top with salt and pepper.
Bake uncovered on middle rack for 30-45 minutes, depending on the size of your breasts 😉
